Mega Millions Heats Up: New Hampshire Jackpot Grows to $390 Million for Tomorrow Night’s Drawing

CONCORD, N.H. – The New Hampshire Lottery is announcing the Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday, June 27, is expected to reach $390 million, with an estimated one-time cash payout option of $265.4 million. (Estimated jackpot amounts are before taxes.) Mega Millions tickets cost $1 per play. Drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11 PM.

“With summertime finally here, the New Hampshire Mega Millions jackpot has skyrocketed to $390 million for Tuesday’s drawing,” said Charlie McIntyre, executive director of the New Hampshire Lottery Commission. “With the holiday weekend coming up, I cannot think of a better way to celebrate the Fourth of the July than with a big New Hampshire Mega Millions winner! Get your tickets now!”

The drawing results from Friday, June 24, were: 11-14-54-57-63 MB-11 with a Megaplier of 5.

The Mega Millions jackpot has been growing since March 8, when Michael Burkett of Seattle, Wash. won a $157 million jackpot. The largest Mega Millions jackpot in history was $656 million, which was won in March 2012. Three winners from Ottawa, Kansas; Red Bud, Illinois; and Milford Mill, Maryland, shared that record prize.

To play Mega Millions, players may pick six numbers from two separate pools of numbers - five different numbers from 1 to 75 and one number from 1 to 15 - or select Easy Pick. A player wins the jackpot by matching all six winning numbers in a drawing.

Mega Millions tickets are on sale at more than 1,250 retailers in New Hampshire until 9:50 p.m. Tuesday.
